Having worked for many down on their luck teams, we have a special place for those downtrodden organizations…right now if you are a sports fan in South Florida, you have had little to see in a positive way since the end of September…the Marlins Sept. 27 win at Dolphins Stadium was one of a handful of wins (outside of the Panthers of ANY South Florida team…the Heat (winless at home in the preseason and regular season thus far), the Dolphins (o for the season), Florida Atlantic (0-2 at hom.in October and November), Miami (0-3 at home since a 24-14 win over Duke on 9/29) and FIU (0-10) have all hit the skids at the same time…contrast that with New England, with the undefeated Pats, the World Champion Red Sox, the 9-1 Celtics, ACC front running BC, Big East leading UConn, 1-aa playoff bound UMass, undefeated Ivy champion Harvard and even the above .500 Bruins, and there is a much bigger fall chill in South Florida than in New England thus far…..?
