You walk through the massive NFL Experience in New Orleans and you see all the requisite fun activations and brands partnerships…and then as you head towards the NFL Store, everything ends in a gift shop right, there you have Pickleball…and cornhole.
What a jump cornhole has made from tailgating to the main stage, and the American Cornhole League has really led, actually created a professional league opportunity in their decade in existence like few other niche startups, and they continue to grow to take on the casual player and give structure to a fun business.

But the NFL experience and a big window in the Super Bowl Sunday is another escalation for ACL, a brand we love.
Since the doors opened to the public the ACL set up, which consists of a handful of ACL Pros giving lessons and tricks to fans including the “beat the pro challenge” where fans are given 4 bags – ACL Pros given 2 – to try to out throw the pro. Winners get entered into a drawing for official sets of cornhole boards and bags.
Additionally the league and NFL have partnered for a really fun event called “the Cornhole Championships at SBX”
The event will take place Friday February 7 from 4-6pm CT at the NFL Experience. This will be LIVE on ESPN+ where 8 NFL stars will each be paired up with an ACL Pro to compete for 10k to the charity of their choice. The line-up is full of household names and personalities including Dion Dawkins, Sam Darnold, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Steve Smith Sr, Kyren Williams, Kobie Turner, Andre Reed and Alex Mattison.

Finally in the ACL was chosen by Google to be featured in their new “50 States, 50 Stories” campaign which shows how businesses across the country are using AI and technology to perform. The campaign features 50 unique GoogleWorkspace customer stories – one from each state – with ads showing during the Super Bowl through local TV spots in their respective markets. Gemini will also have a 90 second spot during the Big Game which the ACL will be a part of. You can see the clips here.
